Domain Locks for SureTrend Cloud

Introduction

SureTrend Cloud offers a domain lock feature that allows users to prohibit other SureTrend Cloud users from creating separate accounts using email addresses with the same domain.  For example, if Hygiena used the domain lock feature on their SureTrend Cloud account we could prohibit anyone from creating a new account using an email address ending with @hygiena.com.  This allows businesses to prevent rogue accounts and avoid account merging. Up to three domains can be locked per account.  This article will provide step by step instructions for enabling or removing a domain lock.

Adding or Removing a Domain Lock

  1. Log in to SureTrend Cloud as a global administrator or account owner.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Account Management.
  4. Click the Domains link.
  5. Click the Lock button to lock or unlock a domain listed on the table below.
  6. Locking a domain will prohibit users from creating new accounts using an email address from the locked domain.

Adding a Sample Location to SureTrend Cloud

Introduction 

In this process, you will learn how to add locations to your SureTrend Cloud.

 

Steps 

1. Log into your STC account

2.Click on the Instrument tab in the top left-hand corner

3. Select the instrument you wish to add the location to.

4. Click on the plus sign to add a new location.

5. You can add the location that you need and adjust your thresholds. You can also add additional fields for further location detail. Some fields need to be enabled on the Ensure Touch.

 

7. Your new location is now added to all registered instruments. You can Exclude locations by clicking the exclude box. Locations can be edit by clicking on the pencil icon to make changes.
